Candace Dannenbaum Cfa’s Expertise Candace Dannenbaum, CFA, Managing Director, is the Head of EMEA iShares ETF Development, bringing almost two decades of experience across multiple disciplines including exchange traded products and platform development, derivatives trading and structuring for investment banks and BlackRock. She currently leads the teams focusing on growth, innovation and scale through designing, developing and launching exchange traded products (ETF/ETP), as well as ensuring the integrity of the existing range. Most recently, Candace led the EMEA Product Architecture team and prior to that was Global Head of Synthetics for ETF Markets. In this role she focused on strategic initiatives that required the use of complex instruments. She joined BlackRock's Trading team in 2015, where she focused on equities and commodities derivative trading strategies. Prior to joining BlackRock, Candace led inter-dealer swaps trading within Equity Finance at JP Morgan. In this role, she managed liquidity and risk across the firm's portfolio of equity securities and derivative hedges for cash deployment, securities lending and inventory optimization. Ahead of JPM, she was a member of the Structured Finance team at Bear Stearns, where she designed and traded customized financing and market access solutions for hedge funds and institutional clients. She began her career in Investment Banking as an analyst on the Equity Capital Markets team at Merrill Lynch. Candace earned a BS degree in Operations Research from Columbia University.
